“Matthew Mezinskis put the number on screen that his entire model hangs on: "The power curve itself is about $145,000. #Bitcoin, as we know, is well under that, about half. So we're well under trend." To understand why he trusts that curve, you need his gold-vs-Bitcoin distinction, and it's the cleanest version of it I've heard. Gold is an exponential asset: a straight line on a log chart, constant growth. He ran the 55-year regression live, gold compounds at "5.7% per year... a doubling every 12 and a half years." That's what normal assets do. Stocks draw the same line. You can be off-trend for 20 years, but the line is the line. Bitcoin doesn't fit that line. At all. Its best fit is a power curve, a straight line only on log-log scale. Different mathematical species: growth that slows over time, but with one proportion that never changes: "For every 13% increase in the life of Bitcoin, the price doubles. That's the brass tacks of what the Bitcoin power curve does. It's a mathematical relationship that we can find and observe, and it's been going on really well for about 13 years." Early on, a doubling took 93 days. Each one takes longer now. But the proportion holds; thirteen years and counting. What I keep sitting with: he's not asking you to believe a story. Gold has a 55-year trend. Bitcoin has a 13-year one. Both are just regressions on data anyone can check. The difference is what the regression says: gold doubles every twelve and a half years on trend. Bitcoin, even as it slows, still doubles multiples faster, from half price. His curve, his math. But if price reverts to trend the way it has for thirteen years, the gap to $145K isn't a prediction. It's an observation with a delay. @1basemoney”

“To be honest, this looks a little heavy for #Bitcoin. https://t.co/2a6vD2S9bW”

“I've got two areas of interest for $LINK. If Bitcoin makes a sweep lower, I'm definitely going to be interested to be buying the dip on this one <$10.50. Any wick I'm interested in, but this time particularly interested into $LINK as it has been a strong runner already. https://t.co/E0cxH44zV2”

“The support looks heavy on #Bitcoin. I don't think that we'll hold and I do think that we'll see a sweep going lower. Given that there are multiple wicks that it will take it, this can become a nasty one. I'm starting to show interest at $76,000, but mostly at $74,750. If this scenario doesn't happen, I'm not interested until price starts to reclaim the $78,700 area.”

“Markets go up. Market go down. In this case, the assets like $PONS, solana:6GmAFSYs4gk3FDao5FzzySQpPZaWsa4rUJHacpMpUNgx, $CASHCAT are all correcting. But that's nothing new. They've seen a massive explosive move to the upside, and that will correct down. Similarly to Bitcoin, these upwards moves will have some corrections and when Bitcoin corrects, that will provide a tremendous opportunity to be buying altcoins. The next wave will be significantly larger, also for the Robinhood ecosystem, so that's why I'll be buying the dip.”

“To be honest, I don't think that we'll continue to be run upwards (for now). Quite a weak bounce, and we still need to hold $78,000 to continue going up. If this doesn't hold $78,000, this can be one of those hard sweeps on the markets as I'd be willing to be buying anything around $74,000 for #Bitcoin. Those will also be magnificent opportunities for #Altcoins.”

“The trendy coins are correcting today, however, this would mean that it provides magnificent opportunities. I wouldn't be surprised if we're seeing another sweep of #Bitcoin and assets to continue to fall. These type of markets are the ones that you'd want to be buying those dips.”

“I put a thesis to Matthew Mezinskis that half of crypto believes right now: gold just made its most violent upside move since 1980, gold moves first, then consolidates, then Bitcoin follows, so the rotation out of gold pushes #Bitcoin higher this cycle. He agreed gold is the right comparison. Then he took the other side of the conclusion: "I don't think necessarily there's going to be trillions and trillions of dollars coming from the gold market into Bitcoin." His reason is the most data-guy answer possible. It's not about flows or narratives, it's that the two assets don't even grow in the same mathematical universe: "Gold, like any other asset, goes on an exponential curve, a straight line on log-linear scale. Bitcoin goes on a power curve, a straight line on log-log scale. They're just very different. I put a lot of stock into those differences." Gold, in his read, stays in its channel. And Bitcoin doesn't need the rotation: "Bitcoin is going to continue to grow as it does on this sustainable power trend." The nuance that stuck with me: gold went to $2,000 in 2011, then sideways for 13 years, which happens to be exactly the existence of Bitcoin. The outperformance was never a rotation story. It was two different curves doing what they do. So the bull case, per him, isn't "gold's money comes here." It's "Bitcoin doesn't need it." Thanks to @1basemoney for joining me on @new_era_finance”

“The actual returns we're getting when this happens on #Bitcoin are phenomenal. I wouldn't be surprised to see a new ATH of #Bitcoin in Q1 of 2027. https://t.co/2h5zNRubNl”

“@arlowilliams618 Yeah, I'm monitoring this too. If this recent low is lost, I think that we'll see another sweep towards the $78,000 area. Other than that, remains rangebound to me.”

“#Bitcoin looks primed for another leg upwards here. It's still stuck in the range, but it held an important level of support, through which I think that we'll start testing the highs at $82,700. https://t.co/VwKxteHvnj”
BTC▲ Bullishexplicitrepeat - 8 Sept 2026, 20:34 UTC
“#Bitcoin doesn't have deep corrections in a bull market. Especially not when it's in the first run upwards. It has brief corrections and rarely comes back down again. That's why I think that this correction is already over and if we drop further, that $72,000-74,000 will be a true blessing to be buying back into.”
BTC▲ Bullishexplicitrepeat - 8 Sept 2026, 18:54 UTC
“This looks quite good for upwards continuation for #Bitcoin. If that happens, then I'm sure we'll see a massive leg upwards for #Altcoins. What would you do if Bitcoin reaches $90K in the coming period? Cry that you didn't buy at $60K? https://t.co/YmzDeKnd6O”
