“Solana Foundation's Nick Ducoff says Solana can help cut ADR premiums and improve access to foreign stocks for US investors "It's a good start. You know, there's 6 billion internet users. We wanna reach all of them. So quite a long way to go." "Yeah. I think it's all of the above, right? And, you know, we're talking about US equities for international holders. I think what we'll also see more of is international equities being brought to US investors. It's highly inefficient for US investors to access stocks outside of the US." "So an example would be SK Hynix. The premium that you pay on an ADR is something like 30% for a share, as traded in the US. And, you know, that's just fee capture that we've gotta collapse, and I think that's where something like a Solana can really be helpful, to drive cost down for investors around the world and improve access to assets."”

“Solana Foundation's Nick Ducoff says private chains may handle coordination, but liquidity will pull settlement onto public rails like Solana "I ultimately think the settlement's gonna happen on public rails. So I do believe that even if some of the orchestration happens on a private ledger, that ultimately people will wanna settle on a public blockchain, because that's where liquidity is. That's where the on and off ramps are. You know, that's where the connectivity is, and I think Solana will be the winner there." "I also think that for tokenized equities, you know, there's a few emergent models. You've mentioned Ondo. We talked about Securitize. And then, of course, DTC." "You've got the wrapper model that Ondo has, where, you know, they essentially create a structure to make their tokens permissionless and available to global investors. You've got Securitize taking a very regulated approach as a transfer agent. You know, they've got an announced partnership with Computershare. And then the TSV with OKX and ICE." "Then you've got the entitlement model that DTC has, where, you know, it's held in street name, and they're providing additional utility for those tokenized equities. So, you know, I don't know exactly how it's gonna play out, but I think that Solana will be a winner regardless."”

“Solana Foundation's Nick Ducoff says Samsung bringing USDC on Solana to 82M US Galaxy users is major headway for the tokenization supercycle "We're entering a tokenization supercycle. The vision that Solana has for internet capital markets, which is connecting the world's 6 billion internet users with the world's many terrific productive assets, including the US dollar, is afoot. And I think this is great headway towards that goal." "Prior to this announcement, there was 13 million stablecoin holders on Solana. There's about $15 billion in stablecoins in circulation on Solana. And for this announcement today, with Samsung bringing Solana stablecoins to another 80-plus million users, is incredible." "Ultimately, there's 2 billion Samsung device holders in the world, and I'd love to think one day they're all using Solana stablecoins."”

“Banks in North Dakota are launching their own stablecoin, and they chose Solana to settle on "Even the banks in North Dakota are realizing this now. I had also told you that there is a national network of regional and community banks that's launching their own bank stablecoin network. This is not even a part of it. This is just North Dakota preempting them and creating their own system." "This is coming to all banks near you. This is how they will settle." "Now, is that investable for me in some way, shape or form? Not really, but maybe because it's on Solana. So if this becomes a massive network that's using the network and burning Solana as gas fees, then yes, the price of Solana should rise." "It's very encouraging to see that they are doing this on a decentralized network that you can own the token of."”

“Avichal Garg on the three crypto categories he's investing in "One is, I think the store of value chains are still very interesting. So for us that's primarily BTC and ETH. I think those have ascended into sort of prospective store of value territory. Effectively fixed supply, easy to subdivide, easy to transfer, all the check marks that you would want. And they appeal to different communities." "The second category is anything that has some sort of fee mechanism built into it and deals with financial assets and transactions. You could put SOL into this, put HYPE into this. Our take on those has always been that you have to be very mindful of the fees, you have to think about what the fee take rate is, and then you treat it like an equity." "These are assets that take fees in dollars and make them available to people all over the world who don't have access to dollar instruments. So if you're in Vietnam, if you're in Nigeria, if you're in Turkey, you can buy into these things, and you may not be able to get actual US equities." "To own a piece of a thing that produces US dollar cash flows and can effectively give you a distribution of US dollars in the form of buybacks is a really valuable thing. And the way that the market will express that is a much higher PE ratio, in my opinion, than you get on the US equity markets, because the buyers have fewer alternatives." "Then there's this emerging category of applications that use these primitives that could not otherwise exist. Applications that essentially use distributed compute, confidential compute, zero knowledge proofs and proof generation. Some of those things will look like companies, some of those things won't even look like token networks."”

“The S&P 500 is sitting near record highs. But the internals are weak. As of Wednesday, 257 of the 500 stocks in the index were trading below their 200-day moving averages. That’s more than half the index underwater on a widely watched long-term momentum measure. Breadth is bearish. Now look at crypto. Of the top 100 tokens by market cap, 88, including Bitcoin and Ethereum, are trading above their 200-day SMAs. Most of those same coins are also holding above their 50-day and 100-day averages. That’s a clean, bullish configuration across the board. And here’s the part that stands out: $BTC, $ETH, $XRP, $SOL and the majority of the rest are still well below their all-time highs. They look relatively inexpensive compared with equities that are already pricing in a lot of good news. Weak breadth in stocks near highs has historically been a yellow flag. Strong breadth in crypto while prices remain far from peaks is the opposite setup. The data doesn’t lie.”

“Tristan Thompson says $SOL could easily 2x from here "For the investor side, it's $BTC, definitely $SOL. Especially right now, what I tell people is if they are looking for an altcoin to buy, I would say SOL, just because of the runway that it has right now." "What's around, what, $115 to $117. It can easily get back up to $240. So if you're just looking from an investment side, that's a great, easily 2x that could happen." "I've seen it, because I remember playing around with SOL at $125 and then it getting to, like, $240 and then opening up a long position. So I would say for myself, my two heavier bags, definitely BTC and some SOL. Especially right now."”

“Ran Neuner says an altcoin supercycle is coming, and AI agents will make the onchain economy 100x bigger "The altcoins didn't really perform very well against Bitcoin. They made a lot of promises they couldn't fulfil. We got to the bottom of those promises. And now, if we bounce here, ultimately it's time for there to be an altcoin supercycle." "There were no use cases. Now there are real use cases." "Ansem said it best, we built the best boomer casino, Hyperliquid, and we built the best zoomer casino, Pumpfun. You've got real world assets onchain, people trading them 24/7. Blockchain has put pressure on the Nasdaq to be open 24/7." "All the metrics are going exponential, number of holders of real world assets, number of transactions, onchain activity specifically around Solana. This technology is starting to work." "And very soon, AI agents will start using it. And when they do, that makes an economy that's 100 times bigger."”

“Jason from Blockworks says AI is having its 2021 crypto moment, and a reckoning is coming "I actually believe AI is going through the moment that happened to crypto in 2021, where everything caught a bid. Celebrities were launching not only NFTs but their own chains. If you put blockchain in the name of your company you could raise a round. That's happening with AI right now." "There will be a reckoning, I promise you. And then in a couple of years the best companies in AI will be a hundred times larger than they are today. But there has to be the reckoning." "We just had the reckoning in crypto. There will be some amazing companies to buy in crypto. I think Bitcoin will do extremely well, I think HYPE will do well, a lot of my portfolio is still Solana." "There are some really good companies that will do well and come out of this reckoning, but it won't be one big trade like it was last time."”

“Alex Thorn says Solana might never see a new all time high "Solana has been quietly doing well as a chain, it's got a lot of volume on there. But that coin is going to be hard, in my view, to really ever see a new all time high in absolute dollar terms" "Just think about what took it to 300. Literally the president and his wife announced meme coins on it during the inauguration" "From a pure narrative standpoint, I find it very difficult to see how it can. Over a long enough time, if the chain is very successful, probably it does" "But I don't know how you can get a confluence of events like Solana had to start 2025"”

“21Shares Co-founder Ophelia Snyder on why the push for neutral financial rails is bullish for Ethereum and Solana "On the alt side, America has been the provider of last resort for a lot of technology for the world, in defense, which everybody is talking about, but also in finance. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Swift, these are American companies that provide the payments infrastructure for the world. The ECB came out saying this may actually be a national security risk" "You've seen things like the digital Euro, concerted projects toward building more locally grown infrastructure, not just in the military sector but also in finance. If you're going to do that, it's a really interesting opportunity for capital markets technology, capital markets infrastructure, and payments to move closer to neutral rails" "Because if not, you're either going to have multiple versions of proprietary tech operating, or maybe we end up in a world where even if people don't agree politically, they can use the same system, very similar to the internet. That's great positioning for something like Ethereum and Solana heading into the next five years"”

“Blockchains are getting busier and cheaper while their tokens crash "There's a great report from Bitwise showing this strange phenomenon. Blockchain adoption is increasing massively, but the tokens are dumping to Hades. Eth, Sol and Avax each fell approximately 50% or more over the past year" "Ethereum transactions increased from 121 million to nearly 240 million, but revenue on that dropped 41%. That's because there's more blockspace now, it's become a commodity, and that's made transactions cheaper. So even on more transactions they're making far less money, which is actually very good for the consumer. Solana processed nearly record transaction volume while its network revenue declined, and Avalanche C-chain transactions roughly quadrupled to 236 million while revenue fell to approximately $330,000" "More transactions prove that people want the product, but they don't prove that the token captures the value, which has become a huge problem. The tokens are priced based on speculation from previous cycles, and even if their utility increases, maybe it doesn't justify the price they're trading at"”

“Scaramucci reveals the five tokens he's long right now "I'm doing this keep it simple stupid. I'm long Bitcoin, Avalanche, Solana, I own a little Telegram, and again mostly Bitcoin, some Ethereum. I own those five ecosystems, cryptocurrencies, tokens, whatever you want to call them" "I'm dabbling a little bit in the infrastructure. I had an early stage piece of Circle, which I still hold" "I'm betting that the cycle will move. The halving, you're over the two year mark now on the halving for Bitcoin"”
