Had a conversation with a friend last night who I haven't seen in a bit. He's always claimed to know a good amount about crypto, and was shocked when I told him I was a lot busier recently with the market heating up. He had zero clue what I was talking about. I believe the majority of retail is in the same boat. Most people have zero clue just how much the trenches have started to heat up. If it's anything like previous cycles, they won't have any clue until Bitcoin starts to make new all time highs. But this cycle has one thing that others didn't - frictionless social trading. This is why I believe apps like fomo are still so early. And news like what we got from the CFTC today about crypto apps not having to register as brokers clears the space for an explosion of growth from a regulatory perspective. The more viral some of these 8 figure pnl trades start to go, the more people will fomo into fomo. It's not that hard to figure out. We're going to see more retail in the trenches than anything we've ever seen before. All of the right catalysts are finally lining up in place. Even if you don't execute trades on fomo (e.g. you export your wallet and trade on a dex to avoid the fees), I still believe having a presence there will be a massive part of this cycle. The only thing you sacrifice by doing trades externally is visibility, as well as a bit more friction (e.g. no swiping to buy / sell). So the fees provide a service and it's your option to accept that or not. If you do create an account, taking 10% off those fees when you decide to trade makes a difference ➡️https://t.co/xuYbTqy8Gb Either way, you may not be the earliest right now, but you're way ahead of where the rest of retail is in having time to build a presence and make a name for yourself. This bull market is just getting started.View original on X ↗
How this was scored
Deterministic: the same prices and policy always give the same result
- Baseline: first BTC price at or after publication, $76,525 at 17 Sept 2026, 20:00 UTC.
- Evaluation: price at the end of the 24 hours horizon, $81,200 at 18 Sept 2026, 20:00 UTC.
r = 81199.62 / 76524.55 − 1 = +6.11%- Direction d = +1 (bullish), so
d × r = +6.11%against a neutral band of ±1.00% → correct
Only the end-of-horizon price counts. A brief move followed by a reversal is not a success. Read the methodology
