Sept 15–16 FOMC... around 10 days out Personally not interested in chasing swing longs up here. There have been some fantastic moves across the board and perhaps they continue, but a correction or two over the coming weeks wouldn't surprise me. One thing I'm watching is the continued rotation in OI dominance as per previous occasions. BTC has been steadily losing share while "Others" has expanded considerably, now sitting roughly alongside BTC. Doesn't make it bearish in itself, but it does tell you where the speculative leverage has migrated. Combine that with some fairly thin moves on the way up and, for me, this is more a place to manage existing exposure than start forcing fresh swing longs. No prediction, just recognising that the further leverage moves out the risk curve, the less attractive chasing becomes - and being more selective with trades - as is always the case.Not surprised to see many alts to partially pullback tbh - as is generally the case when heading into uncertainty around CPI or FOMC... Key for me now in terms of context is that Bitcoin is trading below - Previous weeks vwap - Developing weekly vwap - Developing monthly vwap Session wise - failure to find acceptance back above the latter two then my expectation is that we should in theory trade down into previous weeks low... which is what I positioned for on Sunday night along with some alts. Otherwise not much else that I'm interested in at present - mainly talking to myself on here if anything... But pleased with the perfomance so far since coming back to trading in sept - still early days and anticipating a decent month in terms of macro driven volatility.View original on X ↗
How this was scored
Deterministic: the same prices and policy always give the same result
- Baseline: first BTC price at or after publication, $78,422 at 8 Sept 2026, 13:00 UTC.
- Evaluation: price at the end of the 24 hours horizon, $79,588 at 9 Sept 2026, 13:00 UTC.
r = 79588.15 / 78422.25 − 1 = +1.49%- Direction d = −1 (bearish), so
d × r = -1.49%against a neutral band of ±1.00% → incorrect
Only the end-of-horizon price counts. A brief move followed by a reversal is not a success. Read the methodology
