the bitcoin narrative separated itself from the disastrous parts of onchain the last two cycles. NFTs and the (temporary) death of memes. it has always ended with "leave bitcoin out of this mess." I believe the opposite is now true - leave onchain out of the bitcoin mess. If we start to see real experimentation and activity increasing, bitcoins hilarious underperformance should have zero negative impact. The charts already reflect this. hype/btc completely decoupled in feburary. I'm down to bet that other cool new things follow that exact path@notthreadguy bottom in on the degen speculation side of crypto up, rapidlyView original on X ↗
How this was scored
Deterministic: the same prices and policy always give the same result
- Baseline: first SOL price at or after publication, $76.36 at 10 Aug 2026, 21:00 UTC.
- Evaluation: price at the end of the 24 hours horizon, $75.97 at 11 Aug 2026, 21:00 UTC.
r = 75.97 / 76.36 − 1 = -0.51%- Direction d = +1 (bullish), so
d × r = -0.51%against a neutral band of ±1.50% → neutral
Only the end-of-horizon price counts. A brief move followed by a reversal is not a success. Read the methodology
