One other note - my current thesis for Bitcoin / the broader crypto market is pump until sometime in mid August before we see a bit of distribution at a new local top and one last leg lower that creates a true bottom for this bear market in Sept/early Oct. So - that opens a window of about another month that high momentum plays like Robinhood Chain assets have the opportunity to run. Also lines up with when I plan on taking some profits in my positions because I believe there will be an opportunity to stack lower. I know it sounds like a month is a very short window, but if you've been around crypto for long enough - a LOT can happen within a month. So even though my ~general~ bias is still that we haven't seen the bottom of the bear market yet, that doesn't mean there aren't windows of opportunity to be bullish within certain sectors and have a bit of fun.Thesis has been several weeks of bullish PA prior to seeing a correction for one last leg down starting mid-August creating a true bottom for the bear market in September. With how the tech correction has started to accelerate over the course of the last few days, I think it's wise to prepare for the possibility the timeline for the next leg down in the crypto market might also be accelerated. This should give opportunities for generational entries in high conviction names. e.g. if a pair is denominated in ETH, and ETH wicks 25%+ lower, the average ticker more than likely sees an even larger correction. Might not time it perfectly - but I'd rather have stables ready to deploy than not. I believe high momentum growth sectors rebound the fastest. For instance - some of the top tier names in the Robinhood ecosystem might see large corrections, but they also are probably among the names that bounce the hardest. I look at a name I believe has the potential to be billions in the next bull market like tendies and compare it to the early stages of a name like mog. Mog was launched July of 2023 and quickly moved up to just under $40M within a month. When the broader market took a dive mid-August through September, Mog had a 90% drawdown from its highs to under $5M. By early spring in 2024, it pulled a 100x off the lows and eventually broke above $1B later that year. Those type of opportunities also existed in high caps - e.g. Solana. The majority of the market participants declared SOL dead that autumn. It was trading under $20 in September of 2023, before rallying to nearly $300 in early 2025. Obviously a lot of the assets within that ecosystem exploded with it. The next few months are primarily about surviving and positioning yourself for the next bull market. And even though we might see one leg lower first - from a time perspective, we're getting pretty damn close.View original on X ↗
